It's enouth to understand that here was a history. Indeed, Savoca is a medieval town, it was a barony from 1134 to 1817. It was the seat of the Chief of Greek Rrite Church in Sicily. It was an important cultural center of the oriental Sicily for centuries. It is worth to discover all that.
